Glaslyn Court

The philosophy of Glaslyn Court is to give the highest standard of nursing care and the best quality of life for all our residents. Opened in 1983, Glaslyn Court is registered with the local authorities, and caters for the differing needs of the individual. The home has four different units, with each unit under the control of a Lead Nurse and a dedicated team of carers, who have been chosen for their warm, friendly and homely attitudes. Owned by Mrs Olive Wright, who has worked as a health care professional all through her working career and who was promoted to Senior Nursing Care Officer for the Blaenau Gwent area. The Home Manager is Beverley Evans, an experienced RGN who supports each unit. Glaslyn Court is not just a place for living - it's a great place to live! Situated on the outskirts of the rural village of Gilwern, the spacious, mature grounds have outstanding views over the picturesque heart of the Welsh countryside. We operate an open door visiting policy, actively encouraging visiting.
