Global Kids

Global Kids, Inc. (GK) is the premier nonprofit education organization for global learning and youth development that works to ensure that youth from underserved areas have the knowledge, skills, experiences and values they need to success in school, participate effectively in the democratic process, and achieve leadership in their communities and the world. Global Kids reaches over 3000 students, "GK Leaders," each week in New York City and Washington, DC through its in-school and after school global education, social action, digital media, and service-learning programs. Founded in 1989, Global Kids seeks to address the lack of global education and leadership opportunities for youth from neighborhoods whose racial and ethnic groups are largely underrepresented academically, politically and professionally.
