G Oakley & Sons provides a commercial, retail interior fit out and shopfitting service across the United Kingdom with a diverse range of blue chip clients such as Tesco, Bon Marche and Costa Coffee to name a few over varied industry sectors. Our philosophy is to provide a comprehensive shopfitting service making life as uncomplicated for our clients as possible, we do this through our total approach to project management. We also work with the public sector as well. In the last few years G Oakley & Sons have undertaken many refurbishment jobs within prisons, hospitals and remand centres both new and existing. Placing our teams within the most demanding working conditions requires absolute precision and the ability to understand the professional environment they have been placed in. We have worked with our clients in the prison sector on 21/2 year programmes and not only understand, but appreciate the commitment required whilst working with within these environments. This also means that we provide not only our fifty years plus of expertise, we also provide fully security checked fitting teams, method statements and risk assessments and a thorough understanding of the reduced working hours in this type of environment. For example the leisure environment brings another list of skills to the table. As well as the public sector we have worked with David Lloyd and Holiday Inn amongst others in the leisure environment. We have carried out various projects within the Hotel industry G Oakley and Sons have been fortunate to work with Hotels big and small. Re-branding and upgrading of various clients including MacDonalds, Queens Moat House and Holiday Inn, ranging from upgrading to 4* and refurbishment of boutique hotel in a listed building, reviving them to fit in the current luxury accommodation market. Over the years we have developed sympathetic construction methods designed to balance the needs of guests and operators with achieving critical hand overs. These methods provide the foundation for the quality of our delivery.
