GolfDC Academy

The GolfDC Academy, (formerly Capital City Golf School) founded in 1989, has 19 years experience in designing and executing high-quality, comprehensive golf instructional programs in the greater Washington, DC, area. Currently, at our three locations in the Washington Metro area, we serve over 4500 students annually, including nearly 1500 junior golfers, as an authorized service provider for the National Park Service. The Academy started with three locations in Washington, DC, and now serves the Gauntlet Golf Course in Stafford, Virginia, which is branded The Stafford Golf Academy. The Academy has experience in all aspects of the "business" of golf instruction - from investing in the start-up costs to conceiving player development programs, instructor development programs and establishing best business practices. To serve the 4,500 students annually across all locations, the GolfDC Academy has grown from a staff of four (4) teaching professionals in 1989 to a staff of up to 35 instructors. Also, The Academy's administrative and support services team has grown to provide the necessary infrastructure for the business.
