Good Word Brewing

We are implementing new protocols for entering and exiting the building, bussing tables, and a bevy of other new standards of practices. Please be patient with us as we learn. Our goal is to provide a safe place for our staff and guests to enjoy Good Word at an appropriate distance, and we have removed many tables inside. As I was trying to figure out what to write to let our fans know that we are reopening today I thought about an email I sent to the staff when we opened in 2017. It's been slightly edited to further echo today's climate. We've always wanted the message to be clear about Good Word. That message is really about sharing experiences with one another. Enjoy your time with us, let us fill your glass, and clear the plates. Good Word Brewing & Public House starts with a village and the folks who make up that community. Good Word is a staff that puts hospitality before all else. Good Word is a collection of neighbors, it's leaders, it's youth, it's misfits, and ALL are welcomed. Good Word doesn't have political allegiances, agendas, or affiliations. We ARE for equality and inclusion; we care about humanity. Good Word is for people who love food, love beer, and great service. A place to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, to share stories, to celebrate, to propose, to commiserate, and to communicate. We pride ourselves on empathetic and patient service, however these are all meant as a backdrop, intent on not interrupting your experience. We are community driven because we are driven by the community, we are a Public House.
