Goria

Goria Corporation is a private company which began in 1999. We rotationally mold plastic products for a variety of industries. Our first attempts at molding plastic produts was more than challenging for us. We sought out an engineer to come in and give us a crash course in Rotational Molding 101. He accepted the challnege and was successful in his teaching. He then put the "challenge" back on us. He offered us an opportunity to rotomold some of plastic parts for his company. Well one part turned into two. Then two parts turned into three. Then three parts turned into..... well you get the picture. Within a 2 year span we were rotationally molding all of their small and medium sized parts. We then began to look at other products that could be produced. We then took on the challenge of molding funeral related products. There too we were met with challenges but nothing we could not overcome. After 5 years of successfully converting funeral directors accross the United States, from substandard burial vaults, we sold all of the patented technologies and related items to Batesville Caskets Company. Also, during that time we developed and patented the FireMate. This is a great story. I was walking through the building on the home page. I noticed many flimsy looking wooden stands holding fire extinguishers. I asked the general contractor, "why are there so many and why do you build them and not purchase them?". He explained he needed them to be OSHA compliant. He went on to tell me that nothing like this was available to purchase. We did our due diligence and within 6 months a patent was filed for, molds were designed, delivered and we were in production. And here we are today in 2010.
