Gothenburg Chartering

Gothenburg Chartering was founded in 1986 by Michael Kjellberg and Hans Fredin. Whereas Hans Fredin retired some years ago, Michael Kjellberg is still active in the company as broker and chairman of the board. Since 1986 the packaged timber from The Baltic to North Africa has been the core business of the company but through the years we have expanded our activities and we are today covering all aspects within dry cargo chartering from coasters to capesize. We are presently 8 brokers, most of us partners in the company, working from our modern premises overlooking the biggest port in Scandinavia, Gothenburg.
