Here are some of the positions we typically recruit for: Nurses - Registered nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Our nurses monitor symptoms and medication and serve as a care link between the family and physician. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Our CNAs provide nursing and nursing-related services to residents consistent with each resident's care plan and assist residents in maintaining as much independence and control as possible. Housekeeping aids provide cleaning services for a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents. Maintenance staff maintain the facility grounds and assist in keeping all equipment in good working order to ensure a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living environment for our residents. Occupational Therapists (OTs) evaluate residents, develop initial and interim treatment and discharge plans, supervise assistants and aides, and deliver quality occupational therapy services for residents. Physical Therapists (PTs) evaluate residents, develop initial and interim treatment and discharge plans, supervise assistants and aides, and deliver quality physical therapy services for residents. Speech pathologists help residents with swallowing problems and communication challenges. Visitors usually notice the unique atmosphere at both Grace Barker and The Willows.
