Here at Gravytrain we pride ourselves on the fact that we always stay one step ahead when it comes to digital marketing as well as website design and development, which is why we regularly attend events around the UK to meet others in the industry. A few weeks ago our website Design and Development team headed to MagentoLive near St. Pauls in London, where we were kindly invited due to our Magento certification. Gravytrain has worked with Magento for a number of years now, and since we began using the platform, it has gone through a number of notable developments. One of the main benefits of Magento is that it is flexible enough to be easily adapted for any size of business, and can also be integrated with eBay and PayPal. At the event our team was lucky enough to attend a talk by the CEO of Magento Roy Rubin, where he went into further detail on how the product will be expanding in the next few years and the widely anticipated Magento 2.0. A number of companies who attended the event also debuted their upcoming products that can be integrated with Magento, such as Bronto’s new email marketing software. At Gravytrain, we already offer email marketing to all our clients, yet the prospect of having this integrated with their e-commerce platforms will be very appealing. In fact, a number of merchants who attended Magento live discussed the prospect of using Magento for their business with our front-end web developer Ryan Copeland. Discussing the event, Ryan said: “MagentoLive was an excellent opportunity to network with both those that are using Magento and merchants who are interested in optimising their e-commerce sites.
