The Green Park Inn is one of the South's oldest hotels. Established in 1882 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is situated 4300 feet up into the Blue Ridge Mountains, on the Eastern Continental Divide. Noted as being the highest hostelry in the east, the Inn is located in close proximity to the quaint village of Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Guests can enjoy all the charm, and comforts, of a Victorian yesteryear in an atmosphere of quiet relaxation. It is an escape from the hectic pace of today into a world of nineteenth century tranquility. It's windows have been framed for nearly 120 years of seasons...their traces still linger like the cool mist of a mountain dawn. The Green Park Inn offers 22 tastefully appointed guest rooms and suites that offer private balconies overlooking our pool and the Blowing Rock Country Club golf course. Additionally we have 63 clean, comfortable rooms in the historic original section of the Inn. The Inn has a sprawling Victorian-style porch, with white wicker furniture where guests can enjoy the afternoon sunshine and cool summer breezes.
