In 2012 as part of our expansion we moved to our current location at 606 Elmira Road (the former Ithaca Beer). Our new location offers improved retail space for more products, better visibility from the road, a discreet loading area as well as space for our manufacturing and packaging. Our products for commercial horticulture and home gardening are offered for sale in select stores in New England, online and at our specialty gardening store in Ithaca, NY. GreenTree has everything you need to grow plants indoor and out - from hydroponics systems and components, to nutrients, lighting, and accessories. Plus, GreenTree's Owner John Gaunt is a soil scientist and entrepreneur. John brings a deep understanding of soil fertility, soil biology, carbon and nutrient cycling in soil and is committed to addressing climate change. John has championed the potential of biochar as a strategy to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to combat climate change. John has authored key patents on the production and formulation of biochar. John works with the GreenTree team to develop a range of high-quality products.
