From the engineering workshop to the specialists for the efficient workpiece clamping technology - the Swiss company GRESSEL AG have been engaged in metal processing for over 90 years. The typical medium-sized company GRESSEL AG, CH-8355 Aadorf, was founded in 1923 as an engineering workshop. In 1933, the first workbench vice was developed and constituted a real success story. With the launching in 1965 of the high pressure clamp, entry to industrial manufacturing was achieved and, from that time on, the company continually caused a stir in the field of "clamping engineering". Since mid-2014 the GRESSEL AG belongs to SCHUNK GmbH & Co. KG from Lauffen/Neckar.
