Griffin Industries
Founded in 1983 by Thomas Krouth, Griffin Industries was among the first pattern shops in the United States to use emerging CNC technology to manufacture foundry tooling. In its early days, Griffin Industries specialized in making plastic prototype tooling for plaster foundries, as well as green sand and shell tooling for hydraulic valve body castings. Over the years, in response to our customers' needs for machining of the parts we tooled, we added more vertical, as well as horizontal, and CNC lathe capabilities.
