Grofar

Grofar was established in autumn 2014, by the award winning team that created Schoolcomms, the integrated system for parental engagement. We started by visiting over 50 schools across the country to understand the challenges and problems that Careers Leaders faced. We saw how important (but often undervalued) the careers service is in schools and how tough a career managers job can be and wanted to provide a solution that allowed careers leaders to make the best use of their limited time, reducing their administrative burden and providing them tools to help with some of the time consuming and difficult tasks. It is the schools who will make the difference but we felt that if we could help increase student aspirations by just a few percent, then it would all have been worthwhile. We are hugely grateful to all the staff in schools who have given up their time to talk to us.
