George R. Ruhl & Son
George R. Ruhl & Son, Inc. was established in 1789 as a flour and feed mill. The company was founded by Conrad Ruhl, George R. Ruhl III's great-great-grandfather. Now into our sixth generation we continue to operate as a family business. The firm closed the milling operation in the mid-1800's and began distributing flour to bakers in Baltimore City. Sugar was added to the product line in 1950 and mixes were added in 1960. Expansion to other categories and states began in 1972 when George Ruhl, III became owner and President. WE HAVE COMBINED TODAY'S MODERN EQUIPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY WITH OUR OLD TIME VALUES. George R. Ruhl & Son, Inc. is presently headquartered off of I-95 in Hanover, Maryland.
