Guardian s.r.l. is a branch of the oldest company born to develop evolved digital platform destined to the home security. Guardian s.r.l. is a new company, distinguished by the oldest company created to develop advanced digital home security platforms. In fact, we have separated the development and production of WSN monitoring platforms dedicated to the risks for an institutional and B2B market, however, to create a NewCo specialized in IoT technologies and services. It was born from the experience of I.CO., an Italian company that study and realizes - since its foundation in 2009 - solutions with a high level of creativity and ingenuity, to improve the life of the city and its citizens, the territory and the ambience. Guardian has acquired the "know how" of I.CO, and actively cooperate with the University of Bologna. Our background on WSN network to monitor the areas affected by the hydrogeological instability, it uses a technology developed by the University, but after an intensive study of the real problems of the territory, the communication channel and the energy saving, in technological and commercial partnership with the Finmeccanica Group companies, which distributes and markets the technological products and platforms produced by Guardian. The main applications are in the fields of energy efficiency, of Smart Cities, of the shared security, environmental monitoring and civil protection. Guardian has focused its R&D activity on two core areas of the telecommunications and "Integrated Digital", in collaboration with university research, becoming a leader in the application and service segments. The company's flagship product is Guardian SismAlarm, an innovative device: Unique in the market, developed with the latest generation of IoT technology and Web services. It has many patents of uniqueness and is protected by international trademark.
