Our products come from all over the world and cover all styles and genres. We find inspiration in designs old and new. Habitat cannot be defined by a certain region, design, or time period. We carry antiques but we are not an antique dealer. We seek out items that represent the elegance and value our customers have come to expect. How do you choose the products that you carry? Our passion is to carry items that are interesting and connect with us on an emotional level. If an item doesn't conjure any emotion, it doesn't belong in Habitat. There is also a great deal of thought given to the purpose of our products. When Habitat carries an item, the function is as important as the aesthetic. Habitat's products are made from various sustainable and reclaimed woods. As the demands on forest resources have increased, non-forest sources of wood have grown in importance. Many of our items are constructed using reclaimed wood. These products have a very unique look that can only be achieved from years of actual use.
