As a small family-owned business, Cookie Cutters has always put family and relationships first. Our growth was slow and determined. We did not have a large marketing department because we did not want a our team just pushing sales without concern for everyone in the system. We tended to setup areas where stores would grow, and let new growth come from successful operators. As word spread, we received a lot more requests for locations and now offer stores in most areas of the country and Canada, with further international growth on the horizon. As one of the first children-only hair salons in the U.S., Cookie Cutters has always remained true to its motto of Discover How Much Fun a Haircut Can Be. Over the years we have tested everything we do, from our limited birthday parties, to deciding what products our locations will sell. This experience has kept our development firmly targeted towards children.
