Hakatha

"Hakatha" which literally means Energy in Dhivehi language. Hakatha is one of the first parties that ventured into providing contemporary fuel services including fuel dispensing stations, fuel delivery service, car and engine care products and lubricating oils. In 1985, Hakatha was first inaugurated with the fuel service outlet under a sole proprietorship. Since then, Hakatha has been extending its' services to a chain of Build-ware, Hardware, Furniture outlets and Fuel service station. They are now managed under Hakatha Maldives Pvt. Ltd, a family company incorporated in 2011. Since Hakatha ventured into the Hardware/Build-ware sector in 1992, we have been steadily fulfilling local needs by providing build-ware material, hardware items, home appliances, paints, plumbing accessories, furniture, tools and machinery. Hakatha imports products with an annual turnover of 30 million Rufiyaa (2015 - 2016). We distribute to wholesale and retail outlets mainly to Male' City and subsequently to other Atolls. We provide after-sale services on selected sales. Hakatha is the distributor for Pedrollo water pumps in the Maldives. Pedrollo is Italy's leading manufacturer. Pedrollo's quality product range covers most applications in the domestic, civil, agricultural and industrial fields. Hakatha is proud to be a founder member of Maldives National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
