Hallströms Verkstäder
Hallströms was founded in 1914, by the young sheet metal worker Carl Theodor Hallström, with a start-up capital of 15 krona and a toolbox. Three generations later, his sheet-metal workshop has become a technically advanced industry with efficient production and competitive prices. And yes, we are still based where it all began, in Nälden in the heart of Jämtland. Our focus is sheet metal products for use in industrial ventilation and climate control. We supply a wide range of products for most installation environments and also carry out custom-production as requested. Products are used in the paper and pulp industries, for housing and offshore platforms, and in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, and in sports arenas. 40 per cent of our products are sold for export. Thanks to our financial strength and stable ownership, combined with skilled and experienced employees, we are able to use long-term solutions to optimise the quality of our products and services. Cooperation with our retailers and customers is an important part of this work. Most of our production is automated and major investments are made in this every year, resulting in effective production of an evenly high quality, with great delivery reliability and competitive prices. In 2012 our turnover was around SEK 250 million and we had around 130 employees (primarily in Nälden). We have a network of retailers in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Estonia.
