Hamm Mechanical
Hamm Mechanical, LLC was formed in 2010 by three former principals of Berg Mechanical: Bob Hamm, William Hamm, and Chris Colvin. These three mechanical contracting veterans brought over 100 years of experience to Hamm operations. Berg Mechanical was sold in 2006 to Johnson Controls, Inc., a publicly-traded company. Bob Hamm stayed on as a district general manager until his retirement in 2008. William and Chris left Johnson in 2010 to seek other opportunities, and Hamm Mechanical, LLC was the result. Shortly after forming the company, the founders were joined by Earl Lindanger, another construction industry veteran with a wealth of accounting and management experience. Earl was previously with a large national manufacturer of building components, followed by accounting management positions with two major Shreveport general contractors. With the addition of a service department in January of 2012, Doug Potter, a highly respected HVAC project manager, joined the company. Doug had over 35 years of experience as a technician, estimator, and project manager at Berg Mechanical and Johnson Controls. Bobby Ebarb joined the Hamm Service team in September of 2012, adding his plumbing expertise to the company's service. Also a Berg/Johnson veteran, Bobby is known in the industry as an expert in plumbing repair and service. In December 2013, Hamm Mechanical acquired the sheet metal shop and equipment sold to Johnson Controls in 2006. Danny Simon, who managed the sheet metal operations for Berg Mechanical and Johnson Controls, joined Hamm and assumed responsibility for estimating and project management of the company's sheet metal operations, giving us a unique advantage in this market. The principals of Hamm Mechanical were involved in the construction of many of the major building projects in northwest Louisiana, from the Louisiana Downs Racetrack to the General Motors Shreveport Assembly plant; most of the downtown high-rise office buildings (American Tower, Travis Place, Regions Tower, Mid-South Tower, Capital One Tower, United Mercantile Bank Building, and others); hospitals (WillisKnighton Bossier, Willis-Knighton South, multiple Willis Knighton medical office buildings, the VA Medical Center); local casino hotels (Sam's Town Casino, Horseshoe Casino, Isle of Capri, Casino Magic), and many hundreds of units of garden apartments. With leadership experience in construction management, safety, and quality, Hamm Mechanical can handle complex mechanical construction projects of any size and scope.
