Harmony Learning

We offer an extensive range of resources to support the continued growth and development of each child and daily activities are intended to extend, challenge and stimulate the children's curiosity. Our curriculum is designed to enhance each child's emotional and developmental competence. Our curriculum, educational learning plans and goals are evaluated on a regular basis and all staff are trained and personally consulted with any new developments. As educators we aim to enhance and foster all children's perspectives, expectations, knowledge and skills through a variety of learning experiences. At Harmony Early Learning Journey our learning plans are child focused and initiated, inspired by children's curiosity and imagination designed to nurture the development and growth of each child. Educators use their knowledge of each child, as a base for the learning plan, from this, educators observe, evaluate and plan future activities which will guide and enhance all children's abilities. The Harmony team is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) which forms the basis for our unique curriculum. The framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning therefore by evoking children's curiosity, they are able to explore and direct the focus of self-initiated, age appropriate play and organise and make sense of their social worlds. We firmly believe that the opportunity to play whilst learning provides the best basis for children to learn, be active and grow in a fun yet educational environment. Harmony Early Learning Journey also fosters connections to the natural world by nurturing children's understanding and respect for the natural environment. Our planning emphasises the interdependence between people, plants, animals and the land, which is supported by our enchanting and interactive centre surroundings. Children thrive when families and educators work together to support young children's learning. Opportunities will be made available to parents throughout the year to learn more about our educational learning plans, and also our additional programs that support children's creative interests.
