Harrison School District

HEF operates independently from the Board of Education. Funds raised are used for special projects and programs beyond the scope of the school budget. School administrators, teachers and parents are encouraged to submit grant applications. Decisions are made to fund grants based on the perceived value of the application to students. The Grant Committee of HEF meets annually to review and approve grant applications. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused exclusively on supporting academic enrichment programs at each of the six schools of the Harrison Central School District.
