Fifty years ago on January 26, 1966 in Ogden, Utah, G.S. Harris Co., Inc. sold its first order of Harristone. Founder, Grant Harris, with humble beginnings, had only a tiny office, one employee and his vision for the future. Given amazing insight and ingenuity, Grant set forth a remarkable blueprint that still delivers award-winning products for today's stone veneer marketplace. More than 50 years later, G.S. Harris Co. Inc. is still family owned and operated. Harristone remains a pioneer in the stone industry that has grown to become one of the largest, most well-respected stone veneer companies in the U.S. Thank you for an excellent 50 years, and here's to another 50 to come.
