Transdev Harrogate District Travel

At Harrogate & District we have made substantial investments since 2000 to extensively introduce Low-Floor, Easy-Access buses to most routes. In Spring 2004 we spent almost £2.25 million on 12 eye-catching new twin-deck vehicles for Route 36. In Summer 2004 we also invested in 5 new single-deck vehicles for Routes 101/102, which run between Harrogate and Knaresborough. Most of our bus services are provided purely commercially by the company, with only a few routes, and a few journeys on other services, receiving direct financial support from local authorities.
