Founder and Chief Instructor Carl Denne has been teaching kickboxing for over 20 years and running HKA since 1998. At Hastings Kickboxing Academy (HKA), we have put together different programmes for children, teenagers, and adults to help with their development, general fitness, and confidence. All while increasing their strength, performance and building their self-esteem. Whether you have previous kickboxing experience, or you've never hit a bag or lifted a leg in your life, you'll fit right in at HKA. We are a family run business dedicated to the community. We give our time, experience and knowledge back to our students and help them become the confident leaders of tomorrow. HKA has over 15 classes of kickboxing per week. Children of different ages learn at different rates and speeds, they have different attention spans and needs. Even at the same age, children differ in physical terms such as height, weight, and strength, but also in other aspects, such as level of understanding, rules they are used to, plus life skills and levels of knowledge. These are just some of the reasons we at HKA feel the need for so many individual lessons. We offer a full range of classes to suit all ages and abilities, no matter what your reason for training. At HKA we aim to help increase confidence, focus, fitness and physical wellbeing for all our members.
