HaySoft Quality Haylage

HaySoft is produced by Frieze Hall Farm which is owned by the Bird family and the family members currently running the farm are fourth generation farmers in Essex. Frieze Hall Farm is an arable farm with grass grown as two-year lay in arable rotation. Ryegrass and meadow grasses are sown from seed and cut for two successive seasons before being ploughed up and a breach crop of wheat being sown. HaySoft haylage is not made from old meadows as most contain a proportion of weeds, which may be harmful to animals. All HaySoft haylage is produced from cultivated grass.
