Hazwoper

IESMC, LLC has developed a 40-hour HAZWOPER course which is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. HAZWOPER 40 Hour is required for employees working on a project consisting of Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government. As a direct result of over 30 years of Training and Consulting in the Environmental fields, our instructors know the value of attendee participation. This learning process takes as many forms as there are students, each at their own pace and ability. Our thought is this process must be face paced, informative, fun to a point the student leaves the class room wanting to return the next day. The OSHA standard for Hazwoper is a rather old standard and many learning skills and techniques have evolved over the years. Our approach is to coat tail so to speak on the new methods of learning plus reducing the carbon foot print while we do this. After all we are talking about environmental issues here. We offer this 40 hour class (often missed named by many) over a three day, in class, instructor led classroom setting. These sessions last from 8 to 9 hours typically depending on the learning ability of the class as a unit. Here all Hands-On demonstrations and exercises are completed per the standard.
