Huntington Beach Machining

Huntington Beach Machining was founded April 1st, 1975 by Robert Madsen. Previously a one man shop operated out of a barn, Bob saw an opportunity to take over this existing business and replant it in a soon to grow Huntington Beach, CA. HBM began by manufacturing automotive parts and special tooling for the new businesses moving into the area. HBM's first big customer was GSA, a government job where they manufactured blind rivet pullers. As the shop continued to grow and earn more business Bob brought his son Erik on board in 1996 to assist with innovation and engineering. With this, the company was able to get awarded a few high volume opportunities with larger company's, taking it from just a job shop to also being able to execute high volume production. HBM has now established long term relationships with major customers serving the Aerospace, Nuclear, Life Safety and Alternative Fuel Industries. In 2014 Huntington Beach Machining became ISO 9001:2008 Certified.
