Human Care Services for Families and Children, Inc. is a not-for-profit agency that provides a full range of services to individuals with disabilities. Established in 1997 as a small grassroots organization with the intent to bring more services to more families, Human Care Services has since grown to serve hundreds of individuals and families in Brooklyn. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities in our community. To assist the people we support in living the lives they choose, our staff provides a variety of personalized services. Human Care Services is described as a `'boutique agency", as we design unique service plans to create strides in the development of each and every individual. How is Human Care Services Different? The Human Care Services mission is distinctive, with a focus on individuality. We believe that each person is unique and deserves a chance to demonstrate their uniqueness to the world. We assist the people we support in making informed decisions and achieving as much independence in their lives as they are able. At Human Care Services, we provide hands-on support. Individuals with disabilities and their families and friends can expect counsel and advocacy from any member of our staff, From the counselors to the Executive Director of the agency.
