Health Choice Arizona
Since October 1, 2015, Health Choice Integrated Care (HCIC) has been the Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) for Northern Arizona. HCIC is designated by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) as being the managed care organization responsible for the planning, implementation, funding, monitoring and administration of publicly funded comprehensive behavioral health and crisis services to Title XIX eligible children and adults, and non-TXIX adults who qualify as Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI), with behavioral health or substance use disorders. HCIC is also the Integrated RBHA, functioning as the AHCCCS Health Plan for Title XIX eligible (Medicaid) people who qualify as Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI). HCIC is a joint venture between NARBHA and Health Choice, a division of Steward Health Care Network.
