Healthera

Healthera provides pharmacy based digital solutions to streamline patients medicine experience, simplify medicine management and promote pharmacy services and products directly to patients. The companys technology turns pharmacies into digital personal healthcare hubs by providing software services to pharmacies and free, user friendly apps to patients. In March 2016, Healthera was awarded development funding from SBRI Healthcare, an NHS England initiative to develop innovative products that address unmet health needs. The technology was selected based on its potential to significantly impact the increasing pressures being put on urgent and emergency care services and specifically in helping to reduce unscheduled admissions by upgrading access to medicine information for patients and empowering pharmacists to take clinical initiative. Healthera is a Cambridge, UK based company founded by three alumni of the university.
