Healthwatch East Sussex

At Healthwatch East Sussex, our aim is to engage with the public, volunteers, carers, health and social care staff, community and voluntary groups and people who use health and social care services. We will gather their views and opinions to build up a picture of how services are being delivered in East Sussex. We will represent these views to the East Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board (click here to view) and this gives us power to influence decision making at a local level. We provide a complaints advocacy service via our partner organisation SEAP to support people who make a complaint about health services. Healthwatch East Sussex can also report concerns about the quality of health and social care provision to Healthwatch England, who can then recommend that the Care Quality Commission take action.
