In 1966 the company's headquarters was moved to Grand Island, Nebraska. On June 1, 1994, Huey Long retired, transferring ownership to his son, Larry. In 1997 the company expanded into South Dakota establishing a base in Rapid City. In 1999 the Long family relocated to Rapid City and re-established the company's headquarters there while retaining Grand Island as the Nebraska base of operations.
