H.E.A.T

We are pleased to present the 2012 Directory which provides the most current and comprehensive H.E.A.T. Member Contact and Service information, Equipment Rental Rates and Truck Hauling Rates. Addressing the membership during my 2nd and final year as the President of the H.E.A.T. Association of Manitoba, I look forward to the coming year and the opportunities that lie ahead for our association and membership. The healthy state of the construction industry contributed to the successes of the past year for our association and our industry. H.E.A.T. enjoyed a prosperous and productive year, as we celebrated the 30th Anniversary of our association at our highly anticipated annual events: the Gentleman's Dinner & Texsas Hold'Em Tournament, the Summer Golf Tournament and the Fall Banquet & Dance. Our association has made great strides this past year in strengthening our ties with our partners in industry, thanks to the tireless efforts of our Board of Directors and committee volunteers. We were very pleased to have representation from the office of The Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation as the Keynote address for the AGM. This year was also marked by the roll-out of the "Stay Back, Stay Safe" public eduction campaign organized in conjunction with our associates at the City of Winipeg. The focus of the campaign is increased public awareness for motorists sharing the roadway with snow removal equipment at work. The goal for this initiative is to reduce collisions involving motorists and heavy equipment, and thereby reduce unnecessary costs and claims for our members. Looking forward, it is my good fortune to finish my term as President with the support of our enthusiastic and commited Board of Directors. Our Board Members dedicate many hours organizing our sell-out events, as well as volunteering their time to represent our Association at meetings and functions throughout the year. Their hard work and dedication ensures that the voice of the H.E.A.T. collective is heard as we work to effect postive change in our industry. We look forward to the year ahead and thank you, our Members, for your continued support ensuring the growth and success of the H.E.A.T. Association.
