Founded by Seattle husband-and-wife Larry and Tabitha Kurofsky, Heavy Restaurant Group is the management company behind Purple Cafe, Lot No. 3, Barrio, and The Commons. Purple Cafe, which opened in 2001, combines a global wine selection with Northwest cuisine made from local seasonal ingredients. The opening of Barrio brought Mexican cuisine paired with innovative craft cocktails in an energetic urban space. Lot No. 3, and The Commons followed combining comfort food, classic cocktails, and craft brews.
