Thus, Allied Motion Technologies is well on the way to becoming a leading supplier in the promising segment of motion control. With the acquisistion of Heidrive, the US group aims at strengthening its prensence in Europe. Allied Motion wants to open up new markets and to gain further development skills with the help of Heidrive's specialists. With the manufacturer of servo motors located in Kelheim (Bavaria), Allied Motion has found a strong partner for positioning the group on the German market. According to Richard S. Warzala, chairman and CEO of Allied Motion, the acquisition of Heidrive is an important step within the global growth strategy of the US group. Backed by the powerful US company, Heidrive will push forward the manufacturing and extension of the modular servo system HeiMotion on the existing sites in Kelheim (Bavaria) and Mrákov (Czech Republic). The development of innovative drive technology and the realization of customer-specific drive solutions will remain the center of attention of the company.
