The name Hero originates from 'Hero of Alexandria' an engineer and mathematician accredited for his innovations in developing and applying feedback control systems. Hero of Alexandria's 'golden age' of engineering saw the development of numerous solutions for everyday problems culminating with the invention of the steam turbine.
