Hewland has produced motorsport transmissions since 1957, and gearbox technology remains at the heart of the company's structure. Motorsport, by its nature, drives innovation and as such Hewland's transmission technology is among the most advanced anywhere in the world. With bespoke units currently being utilised in a multitude of national and international championships, Hewlands experience in motorsport transmissions is second to none. Bespoke Hewland solutions are utilised in GP2, GP3, GT, DTM and GT500 as well as technologically chellenging series including LMP2 and Formula E (among many others) and the company is exceptionally well equipped to provide proven, technologically advanced solutions.
