Health Facilities Group

Health Facilities Group was established in 1994 with a mission to improve health care through architecture. While overseeing the planning, design and construction of a major regional medical center, founder Stephen Lewallen, AIA, saw a need to refocus health care architecture on the people who occupy the space - from care providers, to patients to residents. Today, Health Facilities Group has offices in Wichita, Tulsa, Omaha and Des Moines. We've served more than 100 health care institutions, and successfully designed more than 1,000 projects. Our growing staff of planners, architects and interior designers is involved in multiple health care projects, and studies the latest trends in patient and senior care. They stay informed on health care reform, and consider HCAHPS scores during the planning and design phases. Our staff uses this knowledge to create environments that improve our partners' ability to provide services, as well as the patient's ability to heal, and offer residents a living environment that is safe, comfortable and fulfilling. The health care industry continues to evolve, and so will HFG. What won't change is our commitment to giving people a better care environment and providing clients the best possible solutions to their planning and architecture needs.
