Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier

Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier (HHNK) is an innovative and regional water board, overcoming major challenges in management and development. HHNK is at the service of society, and quality and corporate social responsibility are its huge priorities. In fact, by 2025, HHNK will be CO2-neutral. Every day, HHNK's over 950 employees protect the land and preserve the quality of the surface water. We work closely with other institutions related to water management, including PWN, Rijkswaterstaat (the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management), the province of North Holland, the municipalities, LTO, entrepreneurs, local residents, recreational fishermen, skaters and nature management organizations. HHNK takes everyone's interests into account while prioritizing the public interest above all.
