H & H Painting
H & H Painting Company, Inc. is committed to safety. All employees are required to read and sign our safety policy when they are hired. This policy covers Fall Protection, Respiratory Protection, Hazardous Materials and Waste, Injury Reporting, as well as general Safety Rules including, but not limited to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), housekeeping, what to do with defective equipment, tool box talks, confined spaces, etc. H & H team members are trained in aerial platform/lift work on a regular basis. They are also medically screened per the OSHA Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaire (appendix C to sec. 1910.1234) and given yearly respirator fit tests. We require them to carry up to date certification cards for both lift training and respirator fit testing. Employees are equipped with hard hats, safety glasses, high visibility clothing, and respirators at all times. All full time employees are required to complete 10-hour OSHA training and First Aid. Any specific PPE or training is provided as needed; examples include body harnesses and lanyards, forced air respirators, air monitoring, asbestos training, lead testing, and CPR. Our project managers are required to have OSHA 30-hour training and our company is certified to renovate, repair, or repaint lead surfaces per EPA regulations. We can provide site and task specific Job Safety Analysis for a project. Over the last 19 years H & H's EMR Rating has averaged .74 and has never been above 1.0 in it's history. Please contact our safety manager, Mike Maust, with any questions regarding ongoing or future projects. We are eager to work on your upcoming project.
