Higley Mansion Care Center

Higley Mansion provides all the personal care you need at one monthly fee. We have private suites with a private bath. Your monthly rent is based on the size of suite you choose. The suite is furnished but permanent residents may bring their own furnishings. All personal cares, three delicious meals per day, bed and bathroom linens, laundry services, housekeeping and wireless internet are included in the monthly rent. Medication administration is provided by professional staff at no extra charge. What is Respite Care at Higley Mansion Care Center? Residents may come for a short stay at Higley mansion for one week to one month. Respite stay is at a daily rate per size of the suite chosen. Do you have some questions regarding the enrollment process, or billing? Below are some questions regarding the actual admission process at Higley Mansion, and other questions we frequently receive regarding financials. What is needed before I can be admitted to Higley Mansion Care Center? Higley Staff will evaluate the potential resident to determine if you qualify for our level of care, a signed order by your physician stating you may be admitted to residential level of care, a current physical performed within the past six months, a chest x-ray or Tuberculin testing within the past six months and a current list of medications from your physician. What do I need to bring the first day of admission? We will need your insurance cards, personal clothing marked with your name, personal hygiene items and your own television (A television will be provided for respite stays). How do I get my medications so Higley Mansion staff can administer them? Higley Mansion Care Center will send the orders for your medication to the pharmacy we use for unit dose preparation. The unit dosing system is the safest and most efficient way for our staff to administer you your medication. We do continue to honor bottled medication administration for our Veterans that receive their medications from the Veterans Administration Pharmacy. Hairdresser services, meals and shopping on outings, Therapy services, Lab services, Podiatrist visits, Telephone service, Direct TV or Cable service and Transportation to Doctor visits. Does Higley Mansion provide Activities? Higley Mansion has a Certified Activity Director on staff that organizes a monthly calendar of events for our Residents at Higley Mansion Care Center. Bingo, Live Music, Weekly Social Hour, Gardening, Crafts, Religious Events and a variety of outings are some favorites.
