Established in Oct., 2003, Hunan Er-kang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (refered as ¡°EK¡±) is a high-tech corporation which is located in National Biomedical Industry Base of Changsha, Hunan province. Since the setting up, EK is dedicated in the sale, production and research of the products which is in the scale of pharmaceutical excipients, new-type antibiotics and other API. EK has passed GMP certificate twice in April and October, 2004. he company chairman of the board, Dr. Shuai Fang Wen was awarded as the professor of Central South University of China in13th May£¬2011. At the same time, to win-win situation for research£¬Central South University established a ¡°Teaching Base¡± in EK company. In 2th July, 2012, Dr. Shuai Fang Wen was invited by The United States Pharmacopoeia Commission as the member of East Asia expert committee. The main mission is to establish the standard and monograph of modern pharmaceutical excipient combining to the safety. Leading by Dr. Shuai Fang Wen, EK became the biggest producer of pharmaceutical excipients in China and the company was listed in ShenZhen stock market as the first listed company in pharmaceutical excipient industry ( the stock code is 300267).
