Holy Trinity High School

The town of Hartington was founded in the fall of 1883, and within a few months the Catholic settlers of the town built Holy Trinity Church. This new parish received its first pastor in 1886, and was incorporated into the Diocese of Omaha on September 10, 1887. Several years later, in 1901, the parish built and opened Holy Trinity School for the education of its youth. Today, Holy Trinity is made up of more than 570 households and educates more than 150 children in our PreK-6 school. Over 200 students attend Cedar Catholic Jr.-Sr. High School, which Holy Trinity and five other parishes support. Holy Trinity parishioners continue to make a positive impact on the Hartington community through their involvement, leadership, and way of life according to the Gospel message. Holy Trinity is proud to celebrate 125 years of faith and looks forward with hope to a bright future in God's grace.
