The Horsell Village School
The Horsell Village School is a community school for children aged four to seven. It is situated in the heart of the village opposite the Church of St. Mary the Virgin and was built as a school in 1851. The school celebrated 160 years of teaching in 2011. Over the decades the building has been sensitively extended, and today the school houses nine class bases, three classes in each year group, accommodating 270 children. The grounds provide a variety of learning opportunities, play areas and an environmental area with pond and gardens.
