Hova Networks
Hova Networks interconnects a network of warehouses for the Costco Wholesale Corp. chain within the Mexican Republic utilizing voice over IP architecture. Mexico, D.F.- June 2007-- HOVA NETWORKS completes the integration of Costco warehouses with an interconnection network of voice over IP. With this, it's able to unify its communications with any of the COSTCO warehouses in the country at a substantially reduced cost. Having begun in August 2007 with the interconnection of an annex office to the corporate location and subsequently, with the first warehouse in San Luis Potosi in the same month, today HOVA NETWORKS finds itself in the process of integrating two new locations; a warehouse south of Mexico City, and another in Guadalajara. In addition to this, HOVA NETWORKS has launched an operation, and designed a Help Desk for COSTCO'S exclusive use. The response time for technical assistance of more than 2 days from its previous communication systems and interconnection provider has been drastically reduced to less than 2 hours with 24/7 availability, unlimited configuration modifications based on the client's needs and specifications, diagnostics, and failures that have to do with: extensions, extra lines, internal lines, and electric switch functions. HOVA NETWORKS services include the generation of a backup configuration with the frequency required by the client (weekly, biweekly, monthly etc.) Colegio Americano, or the American College grows and modernizes its telephone network by adopting voice over IP technology through Hova Networks Mexico, D.F.- 2007-- Colegio Americano has adopted the HOVA NETWORKS technology, implementing the voice over IP system at its annex building. The HOVA technology allowed Colegio Americano the installation of this new system with the advantage of being able to fuse it with the AVAYA system currently installed at the central building. This first phase consisted of 17 extensions at the new Colegio Americano building. Once this phase concluded, and upon the assimilation of this new system, the Colegio Americano opted to expand the modernization to all of its installation with which it substituted the remaining AVAYA equipment with HOVA technology. This represented a savings in telephone costs and equipment on top of the optimization of the network. HOVA fuses information technologies, as well as telecommunications in one, more robust, and efficient network. All of this, with the considerable reduction in operation costs, and the simplification of management, support, and service processes. HOVA NETWORKS wins the government originated contest for the GDF and implements a voice over IP call center for the SSP Mexico, D.F.- July 2007-- The SSP (Secretaria de Seguridad Publica) in Mexico City has placed a voice over IP telephone service or call center in operation installed by HOVA NETWORKS in order to provide its citizens information in reference to its tow trucks, as well as traffic citations. The Mexico City government acquired a subscription with HOVA NETWORKS for the implementation of a voice over IP system for its call center with which it will assist vehicle owners whose automobiles have been towed due to their poor judgment in parking them in prohibited areas. At this call center, located in the central offices of the SSP at Izazaga, the vehicle owner will be able to investigate by simply placing a call, whether their vehicle has, or has not been towed from the place where it was originally parked and if so, the reason why it was towed, the tow yard location, and the amount, method of payment, and the location of where the payment is to be made. The services subscribed to by the SSP include the operation of the call center which is conducted by Hova personnel.
