About HP BOSE (Himachal Pradesh State Board of School Education) The Himachal Pradesh School Board is a government agency in Himachal Pradesh that prescribes instructions and textbooks and conducts exams for high school students in Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 1969 and is headquartered in Dharmshala. Kultar Chand Rana de Kangra was the first president. Currently, more than 8,000 schools are affiliated with the council. The Commission establishes 1,650 test centers for more than 500,000 people each year. Mr. Harish Gajju (HAS) is the current Secretary for the appointment of HPBOSE by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Sh Rajiv Shankar (IAS) is the current Chairman of the Board.
