Hudson Cove Capital Management, LLC ("Hudson Cove" or "The firm") was founded in 2009 by David Wu and Fred Wang, who have decades of combined experience in direct principal investments at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs in structured credit. Along with a third principal Christian Mainelli, the core investment team has worked closely together trading and investing in structured credit for over 15 years. The Firm started as a family office initially in 2009, with substantial committed internal capital. After proving the concept of investing in ABS, MBS and ABL, Hudson Cove accepted outside capital for the first time in 2017 via reverse inquiry. Our investment strategy with an established 8-year track record was then introduced to a broader institutional investor universe from 2018. The Firm's fund is currently being managed for a global investor base, which includes without limitation, a Sovereign Wealth Fund, family offices, wealthy advisory firms, qualified high net worth individuals and consultants, alongside internal capital. Hudson Cove employs 9 people and is headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey.
