Hartford Union High School is committed to assuring that every student is a world-class leaner who is ready to conquer the challenges of tomorrow. To meet these goals, HUHS strives to afford students with challenging learning opportunities that are appropriate for each individual learner. To do so, we must recognize the unique talents, interests, and learning needs of gifted and talented students who may require unique educational opportunities. Most gifted and talented students at HUHS see their academic needs met in regular classrooms though differentiated instruction. The gifted and talented program has been set up in an effort to help provide students with experiences that will help maximize their learning capacity and be successful at HUHS and in the future. To do so, the program coordinators will work directly with students, parents/guardians, and teachers.
